French League: Monaco beat Montpellier 2-0

Monaco extended its win streak to five games on Sunday, moving two points behind the top three spots in the Ligue 1 by beating Montpellier 2-0. 

Wissam Ben Yedder assisted Breel Embolo during the first half, who scored a goal from a shot that rebounded off the roof of the net.

The winner came in the 80th minute, when Dutch forward Myron Boadu converted a low cross by Caio Henrique.

Leader Paris Saint-Germain drew with Reims 0-0 on Saturday to extend its lead over Marseille to three points.
