Ahead of the Bianconeri’s fixture against Empoli tomorrow evening at the Allianz Stadium within match-week eleven of the Serie A, Juventus boss Allegri previewed the match in a press conference earlier today.
As it stands, the Old Lady currently find themselves in eighth place with a total of 16 points, ten points adrift from the league-leaders Napoli and trailing behind Inter by a difference of two points.
During the eve of the significant fixture, relayed by news outlet Tuttosport, Allegri spoke to the press about the Bianconeri’s 1-0 victory over cross-city rivals Torino, a derby which saw Serbian international Dusan Vlahovic score the decisive goal in order to attain three crucial points:
“The victory in the derby was beautiful, I think deserved, against a good team. Playing against Torino is never easy, but because it becomes important you have to follow it up tomorrow.
“Today we are training and I will have to evaluate some players who have played A lot. The team is better mentally, the derby has given us serenity and morale: our mood depends on the results. Tomorrow it will not be easy. “
In addition, the Tuscan tactician touched upon the availability of star players Federico Chiesa and Paul Pogba as they are in the process of recovering from injury:
“The reality is that neither Chiesa nor Pogba are available and tomorrow they will not be there. Chiesa has had two training sessions: he has made great steps forward and on Saturday morning we will have a friendly for him, to see how he moves.
