Chelsea have demanded at least £58m (€65m) for Jorginho should Juventus firm up their interest.
The Italy international has been linked with a transfer back to Serie A this summer.
It comes from Maurizio Sarri, now in charge at Juventus, who has a close bond with the midfielder from his time managing Napoli.
Jorginho was the first signing Sarri made at Chelsea, arriving as a double act and the on-field general for the Italian's style of play.
And the former banker wants to reunite with the 28-year-old for a third time, this time in Turin, but it would not be a cheap deal.
According to TuttoSport, the Blues are demanding at least £58m (€65m) for Jorginho.
But the west London outfit are looking for £62m (€70m), a price difficult to pay in today's market amid the coronavirus crisis.
However, Jorginho's representative has been quick to play down a transfer.
“I read that, but I never had contact with them. Neither Sarri, nor Fabio Paratici called me to have information on Jorginho,” Joao Santos said.
“As of today, I know absolutely nothing about this situation. The lad is very happy in London, where he is proving his worth and still has three years left on his contract.
“In fact, in July there’s the possibility we can start talks to add a fourth and extend his contract with Chelsea. I don’t know what Juve’s transfer strategy is, but these are our plans for the future.”
Jorginho has enjoyed a fine season under Frank Lampard following a turbulent time the year gone and has won over the fans at Stamford Bridge.
And the Brazil-born star has commended the work of his manager for turning the tide on some negativity surrounding him.
“He’s always spoken very highly of me since he returned to Stamford Bridge and we started working together,” the Italy international told FourFourTwo.
“Honestly, I thank him for the sincerity he showed towards me in public.
"He didn’t have to do that, and not every manager does it. He’s a legend inside the club, so people listen to what he says.
“From that day, I felt everyone began to look at me with different eyes and really pay attention to what I do; how much I’ve devoted myself to achieving the best I can.”
