Maurizio Sarri eye AC Milan duo in January transfer window amid doubts over Gary Cahill and David Luiz

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is believed to be targeting AC Milan Center-back  Alessio Romagnoli and Mattia Caldara in January transfer window.




Chelsea have only conceded three goals in their first four Premier League games under Sarri, still the former Napoli boss is Planning to strengthen his defence when the transfer window  reopens.


Changing from a three-man defence under Antonio Conte, Sarri has elected to go with his preferred 4-3-3 formation in his first year in west London.



Cesar Azpilicueta has moved to right-back despite impressing in the heart of defence in the previous two seasons, while Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz have started at centre-back.

According to report from Serie A outlet, the Blues would need to submit a very good offer for AC Milan to even consider letting the Romagnoli and Caldara leave the club.
