Jurgen Klopp makes five changes to his Liverpool team as Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez drop to the bench at West Ham United.


Wednesday's disappointing 2-0 defeat to Everton has seen Klopp ring the changes with Harvey Elliott starting in the front three alongside Cody Gakpo, who returns to the team after missing the Merseyside derby due to his partner giving birth. Luis Diaz completes the attack.

Jarell Quansah comes in to partner Virgil van Dijk with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson in their usual full-back berths. Alisson Becker is in goal.


Alexis Mac Allister keeps his place from Wednesday's loss but Curtis Jones and Dominik Szoboszlai drop to the bench as Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch return. There's a place among the subs for Stefan Bajcetic.


The young Spanish midfielder hasn't played for the first team since September and has made just two appearances since March 2023 but recently returned to action for the Under-21s in a 3-0 win at Manchester United. He also played 45 minutes against Sunderland recently.
