In the 49th minute of play during Bayern Munich’s 2-0 win over FC Köln, Kingsley Coman was replaced by Jamal Musiala after sustaining an adductor injury that required him to be helped off of the pitch by Bayern’s medical team.
He was noticeably not really able to move his affected leg when he was being carried off the pitch and there were immediate concerns that the French winger had once again suffered a serious injury.
After scans in Munich, the club confirmed that Coman would be out for several weeks, all but ending his competitive season with Bayern.
There were also justified fears that his involvement with the French national team for this summer’s Euros would be in serious jeopardy, but it would appear that there is still a decent amount of hope that he can be in Didier Deschamps’ final roster in Germany.
Per information from Bild (via @iMiaSanMia), the player himself remains highly confident that he will be fit on time for the start of France’s preparations for the Euros this summer.
Between now and their opening group stage match against Austria in Düsseldorf, they do not have any friendlies slated to take place, so Deschamps will have to have had his mind made up off of club performances for this players.

That could be a concern for Coman since he has missed a decent chunk of matches for Bayern through injury this season.
In total, Coman has missed 13 matches across all competitions through injury for Bayern this season, and he will miss at least another six; possibly more depending on how far they wind up going in the Champions League.
