Erling Haaland spotted limping out of Norway training in major injury scare for City

Erling Haaland was filmed limping out of Norway's training session on Tuesday in a potentially huge blow to Manchester City.

The 23-year-old is top of the scoring charts for Pep Guardiola's side as they look to win a record fourth consecutive Premier League title.

City host Arsenal on Sunday March 31 in a crunch clash that may be key in deciding this season's champions, but Haaland could miss out.

Sky Sports report he left Norway training early on in their session ahead of friendlies against the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and did not return.

Haaland missed a large spell of action for City over the winter due to stress on the bone in his foot.

However, he has still been able to rack up 29 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions this season.

The striker's tally is 11 clear of Phil Foden, who is City's second highest scorer ahead of Julian Alvarez in third.

Haaland proved key to their treble success last season and fans will be hoping he can steer them to success again in the coming weeks.

They are just 12 days away from their clash against Arsenal, who sit top of the Premier League and one point ahead of City.

Mikel Arteta's side won 1-0 in the reverse fixture in October and know victory at the Etihad Stadium could take them a step close to their first league title since 2004.

However, City will find confidence in the fact they beat Arsenal 4-1 in the same tie last season, a victory that all but sealed the title.

The two sides face competition from Liverpool for the coveted crown too, with the Reds level on points with the Gunners.

City and Arsenal are also in the Champions League quarter-finals, with Liverpool competing in the Europa League last eight.

Haaland and co. face Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals too, with so much still to play for as the season begins to draw to an end.
