Bayern Munich Set To Improve Offer For Kieran Trippier

Bayern Munich are likely to improve their offer for Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier with Thomas Tuchel pushing to land the England international, according to talkSPORT.

Trippier’s future at Newcastle has continued to remain on the scanner despite the club making it clear that he is not for sale.

The Magpies rejected a bid from the German champions for the right-back on Tuesday and are insistent that they will not sell him.
However, Bayern Munich are not willing to take no for an answer from Newcastle in their pursuit of the 33-year-old right-back.

It has been claimed that the Bavarians are set to come back with an improved offer for Trippier.

The German champions could table their new bid with Newcastle as early as today as part of their plans.

Tuchel is desperate to sign a right-back and the Bayern Munich coach is convinced that Trippier is the right player for his squad.

Newcastle have continued to insist that the experienced defender will not leave but will have another decision to make once they receive a new bid.

The club need player sales if they are to properly strengthen Eddie Howe’s squad before next Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
