Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot and Milan left-back Theo Hernandez are back in training and should start for France in tomorrow’s World Cup Final against Argentina, as the illness is starting to abate.
It kicks off on Sunday at 15.00 GMT.
Les Bleus have seen their build-up to the Final dominated by the mystery flu virus that spread throughout the squad.
Dayot Upamecano and Rabiot were the first to get ill and the Juve man was not even in the stadium for the semi-final against Morocco, as he was left in isolation in his hotel room, forced to watch his team celebrating from the balcony.
It then spread to others including Kingsley Coman, Ibrahima Konate and Raphael Varane.
However, today all 24 players in the squad were taking part in the training session, including Theo Hernandez and Aurelien Tchaouameni, who had a knee and hip problem respectively.
“We are trying to manage the situation as best we can, remain calm and focused,” assured coach Didier Deschamps in his press conference.
Lucas Hernandez was ruled out for the tournament by a serious knee injury during the opening game, while Karim Benzema withdrew before the competition began.
He was not replaced, so technically the Ballon d’Or winner could be drafted in to play the Final, but Deschamps insisted with some irritation in his conference that this was not an option.
