With Lazio securing European football next season following Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s last-gasp strike to salvage a point against Juventus, the Biancocelesti are set to close in on the Shaktar play-maker Marcos Antonio.
Since arriving from the Portuguese club Estoril Praia to Shaktar in 2019, the Brazilian midfielder has established himself as a significant player within the Ukrainian giants’ squad, accumulating a total of 63 appearances across all competitions.
Despite his contract being set to expire in the summer of 2025, the promising star is tipped for an exit as he is willing to seek a new opportunity abroad in order to accelerate his development as a player.
According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Lazio are set to submit a €10M offer to Shaktar in order to potentially reel in the 21 year-old to the Stadio Olimpico ahead of next year’s campaign.

With the dynamic midfield duo Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto both possibly departing the club following this year’s current campaign, the Biancocelesti view the Athletico Paranaense academy product as a promising alternative that can fill the potential void within the centre of the pitch.
