Richarlison tells agent ‘find him a new club’ amid Man Utd links

Richarlison of Everton looks on during the Premier League match between Everton and Manchester United at Goodison Park on April 09, 2022 in Liverpool, England.

Everton forward Richarlison is ready to leave Goodison Park this summer amid interest from Man Utd, according to reports.

The 24-year-old has scored seven goals and contributed four assists in 26 appearances in all competitions this season.

Everton are currently just four points clear of the Premier League relegation zone having won their last match 1-0 against Man Utd.

But regardless of what league the Toffees are in next season, Richarlison has made his mind up that he wants to leave, insists Football Insider.

The report claims that the Brazil international ‘has told his agent to find him a new club this summer’ as he wants to be ‘competing in the Champions League’.

Richarlison ‘has made up his mind and wants a transfer regardless of whether Everton succeed in staving off relegation’ with the Merseysiders holding ‘crunch talks’ in recent days as they try and persuade him to stay.

Man Utd have been linked with the forward as they look to boost their squad ahead of next season under reported new manager Erik ten Hag.

A report in UOL a week ago said that Man Utd will battle Newcastle and Tottenham for Richarlison’s signature with Everton asking for €80m for his signature.

Meanwhile, David de Gea is worried by the Red Devils’ recent performances despite their 3-2 victory over Norwich City on Saturday.

De Gea said: Until the last second it was very stressful. We were 2-0 up against Norwich so we cannot lose the control of the game.

We started giving chances away, they score at the end of the first half so that’s always tough but I think we need to control more the games, especially at home against Norwich. But I think they played a great game.

At the end we fight until the end, good spirit from the team and three great goals from Cristiano.

It’s a massive three points. We’re still there fighting for the top four but for sure we need to keep improving because I think it’s not enough if we keep playing like this.
