Barcelona draw 1-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt in Europa League quarterfinals

Spanish team Barcelona secured a 1-1 away draw against German team Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals Thursday.

Barca began to shine under the management of former Barcelona player Xavi and with the latest results have extended their unbeaten streak to 14 matches in all competitions.

Eintracht Frankfurt took the lead with Ansgar Knauff's goal in the 48th minute, but Ferran Torres equalized in the 66th minute at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany.

The German team were down to 10 men with Tuta's red card in the 78th minute but managed to hold Barcelona to a draw, with the match ending 1-1.

The second leg of the quarterfinals will be held at Camp Nou stadium on April 14.
