Wolves star Adama Traore joins Barcelona on loan

Adama Traore has moved to Barcelona on loan for the remainder of the season, the Spanish club announced on Saturday.

FC Barcelona and Wolverhampton Wanderers have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Adama Traoré until 30 June 2022, the club said in a statement.

The blaugranes will pay the player's wages and there is an option to make the deal permanent, the statement added.

Traore, who is a former Barca youth team player, scored 11 goals and 18 assists in 154 matches for Wolverhampton.

Barcelona also said that the presentation of the 26-year-old winger would be held behind closed doors on Wednesday.
