Juventus goalkeeper Mattia Perin (36) warms up before the Uefa Champions League group stage football match n.2 JUVENTUS - CHELSEA on September 29, 2021 at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Piedmont, Italy.

Mattia Perin is out of the Juventus squad to face Genoa this evening, as he is in self-isolation following contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

The game kicks off in Turin’s Allianz Juventus Stadium at 19.45 GMT.

Unusually, the full squad for the game was only announced this afternoon, a few hours before kick-off.

That is because Perin is not involved, a note making clear the goalkeeper is in self-isolation as a precautionary measure after coming into contact with someone who is positive for COVID-19.

There is a lengthy list of absentees, including Danilo, Federico Chiesa, Weston McKennie, Mattia De Sciglio and Aaron Ramsey.

Max Allegri has bolstered the numbers by bringing in youth team players Koni De Winter and Matias Soule, who are usually working with the Under-23 side in Serie C.

He already gave 18-year-old striker Soule his senior debut in Serie A for circa 30 seconds during the 2-0 win away to Salernitana midweek.
