Ramsdale urges Arsenal to kickstart season after win over Norwich

Aaron Ramsdale has urged Arsenal to kickstart their season after beating Norwich.

Before their 1-0 win over the Canaries on Saturday, Arsenal had lost all three of their opening Premier League games and failed to score a goal.

It had left the Gunners rock bottom of the table and pressure was mounting on Mikel Arteta to turn things around.

Arsenal got a much-needed win at the weekend by beating Norwich 1-0, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring the winner, and Ramsdale wants the team to build on it ahead of a trip to Burnley on Saturday.

“It has been a tough start to the season and we knew we had to have a performance but mainly get the three points,” said Ramsdale.

“We did that, everyone to a man. The blocks, people tracking back...so it was a great day, especially for the fans.

“We’ve played two promoted teams and arguably the best two teams in the league.

“Of course, we would have wanted more points but we now have three, a clean sheet and a first goal and we can now build on that.

“We have been working so hard on the training ground and that has been proven this week.”
