The victor in the French top-tier football league will be unveiled next weekend as leaders Lille and second-place Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are in a fierce race for the 2021 domestic title.

On Sunday, Lille had a goalless draw with Saint-Etienne at home to have 80 points in 37 match weeks. Meanwhile, PSG hammered Reims 4-0 in Paris to rack up 79 points in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats standings.

Lille's Turkish players Burak Yilmaz and Zeki Celik played 90 minutes against Saint-Etienne. Their compatriot Yusuf Yazici was subbed in the second half.

PSG earned the comfortable win as Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Marquinhos, and Moise Kean were the scorers.

With an early red card, Reims were down to 10 men as Yunis Abdelhamid was sent off in the 10th minute. The red card made things easier for PSG.

Lille will visit Angers in the final fixture on Sunday, May 23. If Lille wins this match, they will win the French title after 10 years.

PSG on Sunday will face Brest in the away match. The latest French champions Paris will also wait for Lille's mistake in the final juncture.
