Mateo Kovacic and N'Golo Kante are available for Chelsea's FA Cup final against Leicester City.

Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed the double injury boost in his pre-match press conference at Cobham on Friday afternoon where he also revealed no fresh concerns.

Kovacic has missed Chelsea's last eight games across all competitions with a muscle problem, while Kante didn't feature in the 1-0 loss at the hands of Arsenal because he was carrying an achilles injury and was not risked.

However, both players are in contention to start against the Foxes in what Tuchel has explained is the first of two 'finals' with the sides set to meet in the Premier League next week.

"Every win gives you a good feeling and a momentum you work hard for. It's pretty much all the same," Tuchel said in his pre-match press conference. "It's curious we play our two finals against the same team and it will be tough, complicated.

"The whole group is available as Kova is with us again.

"It's huge because Mateo has everything we need in the midfield: experience, power, can beat players, has physical ability and has played big games in the Premier League.

"When we missed N'Golo and Mateo, we lacked a lot of quality, energy and experience.

"Billy did a huge job in huge games but it's not fair to compare him to these players because they have more experience and are a step ahead in their development.

"It's big news that Kova is back because he's a big guy in the dressing room around important matches."

Tuchel has also confirmed that Kante will start at Wembley.

"We took the decision together to leave him out against Arsenal and give him treatment. It was pain management, not a huge injury," Tuchel added. "It was nothing to be afraid of getting bigger. He trained yesterday and today full, no complaints.

"He will start tomorrow and hopefully finish the game for us."
