Pep Guardiola says Bayern Munich are best in Europe and nobody is Champions in March

Pep Guardiola, Manager of Manchester City speaks during an interview prior to the Premier League match between Manchester City and West Ham United at Etihad Stadium on February 27, 2021 in Manchester, England.

Pep Guardiola, speaking in his press conference ahead of hosting Wolves tomorrow night, said Bayern Munich are the best team in Europe, Liverpool are the best in England as they are still champions, and his team haven’t won anything yet.

City have the chance to make it 21 wins in a row tomorrow, but Guardiola is conscious of the threat that Wolves pose.

With his side 12 points clear at the top of the table, there will be no resting on laurels as Pep discussed that there is still a lot of football to be played.

Pep also confirmed that his squad is at full strength aside from the absence of Nathan Ake, their £41 million summer signing from Bournemouth.

It is an absence City will barely feel as John Stones and Ruben Dias continue to earn praise for their performances with both scoring in Saturday’s win over West Ham.

With his team in such great form and with the Quadruple looking less and less like a pipe dream following each performance, it seems only a matter of time before Pep’s City are considered the very best.
