Manchester United 5-2 Bournemouth: Red devil nets five past Cherries

Marcus Rashford of Manchester United scores his team's second goal from the penalty spot during the Premier League match between Manchester United and AFC Bournemouth at Old Trafford on July 04, 2020 in Manchester, England.

Manchester United were forced to battle hard against Bournemouth but eventually blew their opponents away with a five-goal salvo at Old Trafford in their chase for the Champions League.

Junior Stanislas fired the visitors into a shock lead at the near post, but United duly responded in style with Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial on target before half-time.

United were caught off guard in the first few minutes after the restart, with Joshua King netting from the penalty spot after a bizarre handball from Eric Bailly.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men brought an end to any nerves with Greenwood firing in his second and Bruno Fernandes also converting from a free-kick.
