Real Madrid: Reinier Jesus set to Join team training

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has decided to call up Castilla talent Reinier Jesus to train with the first team starting this Wednesday, according to reports from Spanish newspaper AS and MARCA.

Los Blancos have been allowed to train in two different groups of 14 players and Zidane will use Reinier, Miguel Gutierrez and Javi Hernandez to complete the squad and replace Jovic and Mariano, who are not able to join the squad just yet.

It’s extremely unlikely that Reinier ends up featuring in a single match with the first team this season, no matter how busy the schedule is for Los Blancos.

However, his season had ended —the Spanish Segunda Division B will not restart— and Reinier will use these months as a chance to gain experience and improve his game training with the first team.

Reinier will likely leave on a loan deal in the next transfer window, given that Madrid won’t have a non-EU spot for him in the squad list and that he also needs experience and minutes on a better division than Segunda B.
