Gandini set to leave Roma

Roma CEO Umberto Gandini will leave the club today, It was reportedly stated that his departure will be announced tonight and itis likely he could go back to Milan.  Although, Gandini has met with Elliott management corp. to discuss the terms of his return, yet it is unclear as to what his role will be in the new set-up.

Gandini previously worked with the Ac Milan, but left in 2016 after the ill-fated takeover by Yonghong Li. He has been linked with a return to Milan to work alongside Ivan Gazidis, and it expected that his departure will be announced tonight.


However, the outlet doesn’t expect him to immediately return to Ac Milan, as he’ll assess his options before making a decision.  The news comes after it was reported that Franco Baldini has offered his resignation as a director, after being criticised in Francesco Totti’s autobiography.
