Everton manager Marco silva revealed that his side deserved to win against southampton yesterday, Everton claims 2-1 victory in his first competitive game at Goodison park.
Southampton was determined to disrupt and Intimidate, however for 45 minutes Everton dominated the game and that was enough to see off a sorry Saints side.
Marco silva stated : It was a good first half, We started really well but after they scored the game changed for us.
We kept going in the same way, but the second half it was a bit different, we had to manage it in a different way, and we are working hard on defending better on set pieces. But really we deserved to win.
