Fulham extended their unbeaten run to 10 games in the Championship after easing past Steve Bruce's Aston Villa side. Ryan Sessegnon's brilliant finish broke the deadlock shortly after half time scoring his seventh league goal in 2018, with Sergio Aguero the only player to have scored more in England's top four tiers. Floyd Ayite doubled the host's lead from long-range after picking up Sam Johnstone's clearance in the middle of the park and firing home.
Floyd Ayite stole the show with a wonderfully taken long-range effort as Fulham brought Aston Villa’s run of seven consecutive league wins to a juddering halt. The Togo international found the net from inside his own half at Craven Cottage after making the most of Sam Johnstone’s poor clearance from a free kick on the right-hand touchline. The strike was the cherry on top a devastating second-half display, where Slavisa Jokanovic’s side went ahead through the right boot of 17-year-old Ryan Sessegnon.
