FORMER INTER ALLIES DEFENDER PLAN FOR MLS MOVE

Ex Inter Allies defender Wahab Akwei has been connected with a move to the United States, after ending his stay with the La based Club.
The 23 year old had an impressive season in the last campaign, helping the Capelli Boys stay in the league. He scored three times from 23 appearances.The player who left Inter Allies after three seasons is in search for a new club, and was reported to be on the radar of Accra Hearts of Oak. However, the move has not seen the light of the day, with the player now linked with a move to the United States to feature for a Major League Soccer side. The club has not been revealed yet, but Akwei is believed to be preparing to leave the country to complete a move to the MLS in the coming days. Several Ghanaian players have been playing in the United States with established names like David Accam, Jonathan Mensah and Harrison Afful making the headlines in North America.
