There is bad news for Roma, as while PSG prefer to sell Georginio Wijnaldum rather than loan or pay half his salary, while Monza hit the brakes on Carles Perez.
The Giallorossi are very active on the transfer market this summer after winning the Europa Conference League in Jose Mourinho’s debut campaign.
They have already secured free agents Paulo Dybala and Nemanja Matic, with reports over the last few days they were close to getting Wijnaldum on loan with PSG paying half his €9m per season salary.
However, Sky Sport Italia claim this afternoon that things have changed, as now Paris Saint-Germain would prefer to sell at €10m and leave the full wages to the buyer.
That will make the situation very tricky for Roma, as well as ruling him out of a possible move to Milan at those conditions.

The same source maintains Wijnaldum is eager to come to the Stadio Olimpico, so he would need to take a significant pay cut to make it happen.
Meanwhile, Monza have hit the brakes on their deal for Carles Perez, who was meant to move for €7m plus €2m in bonuses tied to securing Serie A safety.
Instead, RomaPress.net insist newly-promoted Monza now want to remove the €2m in add-ons, something Roma have rejected, so the negotiations are at an impasse.
