Rico signs for PSG

Sergio Rico of Paris Saint-Germain holds the ball during the UEFA Champions League Semi Final match between RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain F.C at Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica on August 18, 2020 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Spanish goalkeeper Sergio Rico has signed a permanent deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG announced on Saturday that they'd found an agreement with Sevilla for the player's transfer.

Rico, who has won one Spain cap, spent last season on loan in the French capital and started the Champions League semi-final against Leipzig in the absence of the injured Keylor Navas.

Rico turned 27 on September 1 and has signed a four-year contract with PSG, who according to sports daily L'Equipe are considering offering a new deal to out-of-contract Champions League quarter-final hero Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
