AC Milan and Napoli 'interested in signing Norwich defender Ben Godfrey'

AC Milan and Napoli are reportedly in talks with Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey.

The 22-year-old centre-back made 30 Premier League appearances this season but couldn't prevent his side being relegated to the Championship.

He may have failed to keep his side up but Calciomercato. it claim he still did enough to catch the eye of a number of Italy's top clubs.

Godfrey's agent is said to have met with Milan representatives at a hotel in Milan earlier this week.

Napoli have also registered an interest and will look to make a move should they fail to land first choice Gabriel of Lille.

The Canaries want somewhere in the region of £27m for the defender, who has three years remaining on his current deal.
