Luis Suarez unhappy with two points lost against Espanyol

Luis Suarez sounded pretty unhappy after Barcelona’s 2-2 draw at Espanyol on Saturday in La Liga.

The Uruguay international scored and assisted at the RCDE Stadium but it was not enough for victory and left Suarez calling on his side to improve quickly.

“We did well to turn the score around (and lead 2-1). But we have lost two points here today, and we must look at that,” he said.

“I think that even if we had won the game, there are still many things to look at and improve.

“We have a few days now to prepare for the Supercopa, but it will be a difficult game against Atletico Madrid. To win a title like that, we must improve, and quickly.”

The win does take Barca back to the top of the table, but only goal difference is now keeping them above Real Madrid in the standings.
