Manchester city manager persuade Raheem Sterling to sign a new contract

Pep Guardiola persuade Raheem Sterling to sign a new contract at Manchester City as the England star delay to sign a new deal. It was known that  the 23-year-old will wait until after the World Cup in Russia this summer to assess his options after enjoying the best season of his career. Sterling, who joined from Liverpool for £44million in 2015, has scored 23 goals and also contributed 12 assists for the Premier League champions. He has two years left on his contract at the Etihad, and City would be reluctant to let such a big asset go into the final year of deal.
Guardiola insists that he and chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak have made it clear they want Sterling to commit his future to the club as soon as possible.
